It all began in October 2023, when fate, or rather, our persistent and well-meaning friend Parker, decided we were meant to be. After months of subtle (and not-so-subtle) hints, Parker and Madison finally set us up on a double date at Tequila’s Town in downtown Savannah. Neither of us knew quite what to expect, but from the moment we met, the connection was undeniable. What started as a casual evening out with friends quickly turned into the beginning of something truly special.
Alex, a Fitzgerald, Georgia native, had recently made the move to Savannah after his time at Georgia Southern, while Bailee, a true Savannah girl, was already deeply rooted in the charm of the city. From the very beginning, we bonded over our shared love for family, our easygoing nature, and our appreciation for the simple joys in life.

As time passed, our adventures together grew; traveling to new places, celebrating weddings of dear friends, and creating a treasure trove of unforgettable moments. But it’s the little things that make our love story so extraordinary: spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen, late-night talks that turn into laughter-filled marathons, cozy afternoons on rainy days, and strolls through the heart of Savannah, hand in hand. Whether we’re out enjoying the city’s vibrant energy or soaking in the quiet comfort of home, every moment together feels like an adventure.
And then, the moment that changed everything, Alex’s proposal, a breathtaking surprise that left Bailee speechless. For over a month, he had quietly and carefully orchestrated every detail, determined to create a memory as perfect as our love. Bailee believed they were simply heading to brunch with one of his coworkers after church, unaware that our families, and a photographer, were tucked away nearby, hearts racing in anticipation. As we strolled through the quiet beauty of Forsyth, Alex suddenly dropped to one knee. Time seemed to pause. Bailee, caught completely off guard, was overwhelmed with emotion. As she joyfully said yes, our loved ones emerged, cheering through happy tears, while every precious second was captured on camera, preserving a moment we’d never forget.
